Re: Information about mounting kit for 1310

Hi Antonio,

The part# you listed is actually the Roof Mount kit, you will

want the following;

AIR-ACCWAMK1300=

• Cisco Aironet 1300 Series Wall Mount Kit for use with AIR-BR1310G-x-K9-R or AIR-LAP1310G-x-K9R

Re: Information about mounting kit for 1310

Hi Rob,

I've read the "Cisco Aironet 1300 Series Outdoor Access Point Ordering Guide" and it seems that the wall mount kit is only available for the 1310 with RP-TNC Type Connectors.

I've the Cisco Aironet 1310 Outdoor Access Point/Bridge with 13-dBi integrated antenna.

So my question is:

Which mouting kit is right to install a 1310 with integrated antenna on a wall?

thx

Re: Information about mounting kit for 1310

Hi Antonio,

I am truly sorry my friend

I didn't see the restriction you most correctly noted. Here is why

it won't work;

Q. Is it possible to combine the wall mount kit with an internal antenna on the 1300 Bridge?

    A. No. The internal antenna would point into the wall when you use the wall mount. Also, the wall mount can accommodate the antenna.

Q. Is it possible to adjust a 1310 Wireless Bridge with an internal antenna that is installed on a wall mount kit, or is it fixed?

    A. It is a fixed solution. Therefore, you should use an external antenna when you use a wall mount kit.

Re: Information about mounting kit for 1310

Hi Rob,

the faq that you have posted are very clear.

I dont' understand what is the meaning of this sentence about the Roof Mount Kit (AIR-ACCRMK1300) that appears in the Cisco Access-Point ordering guide:

"Multifunction mount (allows mounting to roof-mount  mast, or directly to a wall)"

It seems that I can directly install the wireless bridge to a wall through the multifuntion mount but it's not so clear to convince me to buy this accessory.

Re: Information about mounting kit for 1310

Hi Antonio,

It looks like you could use the Roof mount kit. It would be

a little cumbersome, but would work OK by the looks of it

Check out the mounting diagrams here;

Cheers!
