Does Cisco have any plan to come out with a inline power fiber media converter to support single mode fiber rather than a multimode fiber.
The requirement is needed because I need to place an AP from the nearest wiring closet, but the distance is less than 2km. However, the customer has a policy states that all the outdoor fiber must be in single mode.
There currently is no plan to offer a single mode power injector, only the multi mode version you have already mentioned.
Maybe you can address your customers concerns that has caused him to create this policy for single mode and sell him on the idea of using the multi mode, or if this is not an option contact your Cisco account team to see what can be done.
You may also be able to use a 'black box' type multi mode to single mode convertor then run the single mode outside then convert to multi mode inside then into the power injector, just whatch any losses with this covertor

This is the start of a display filter cross reference between Wireshark and OmniPeek.
The 1st installment is a table of advanced filters. More filters will be added as time allows.

I have created a Powershell script to automatically add a Wireless Guest User on Cisco WLCs. (tested on 2500 Series)
The script should be completely self explanatory.
