Cisco IOS automatic field upgrade image, ESC to terminate

upgrade: Compare ok first load file 0

upgrade: Compare ok first load file 1

upgrade: Compare ok first load file 3

upgrade: IOS Configuration component not available

upgrade: Invalid or missing installation key (BR350 not supported)!

Depress ESC key to reboot

What does BR350 not supported mean. This is not a 350 Bridge. It is a AIR-LMC 350.

Any here would be good. I this a paper weight or can it be saved.

Re: IOS upgrade from VxWorks error message?

It looks like the installation key is gone. This will result in you having to replace the access point.

Re: IOS upgrade from VxWorks error message?

I had this same error message using a 350 Bridge, and wondered the same thing....

I backed out of the install by copying 12.03T Firmware back into the units RAM and then copying it over to flash. It seemed to boot ok (using VxWorks) but came up with an old Aironet (pre Cisco) screen and would only give me one "Role" option which was Site Survey Mode Only (Express Setup page)
