Is the AIR-ANT3549 antenna 8.5 dBi or 9 dbi, indoor or outdoor?

Can the AIR-ANT3549 be used outdoors? At two different locations on the Cisco web site the AIR-ANT3549 antenna is described differently.

One site says 8.5 dBi gain and you can use it outdoors:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/wireless/ps469/products_data_sheet09186a008008883b.html

AIR-ANT3549 - Patch Wall mount indoor/outdoor antenna with RP-TNC Good for both indoor and outdoor use. 8.5dBi

The other site only mentions indoors and says the gain is 9 dBi:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/wireless/ps469/products_data_sheet09186a0080092285.html

AIR-ANT3549 - Patch wall mount Indoor, unobtrusive, long-range antenna (may also be used as a medium-range bridge antenna) 9 dBi

Thanks,

Bill

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/cc/pd/witc/ao350ap/prodlit/agder_rg.htm

it's patch antenna with a gain of 8.5 dBi and a radiation pattern is in the shape of a Hemisphere ( Horizontal and vertical Beamwidth is same).

To understand the vertical Beamwidth of the antenna you can visualize the radiation pattern of the antenna in the form of a balloon and if you take a side view of the balloon you can see the vertical beamwidth. It is explained clearly in the antenna guide at the above url:
