LWAAP cannot connect to WLC 4402

Dear all,

I am woundering that someone is getting the experience what I am getting. We have a WLC4402 controller with 9 LWAP's model AP1231G, I have used the utility to convert them to LW. I have updated the software on WLC to the latest one which is (4.1.171.0).

My problem is now, I do the upgrade of AP1231G to LW fine, AP reboots after the upgrade, then It says that cannot join to controller, Send the join request,

Can some wifi guru help me with this issue.

Please see the error code with attached file.

Thanks

Khaleefa

Re: LWAAP cannot connect to WLC 4402

Hi Khaleefa,

This is a pretty common problem that is usually associated with one of 2 things;

1. The time setting on the WLC and the PC running the upgrade tool (must be in sync).

2. A problem with the SSC (Self Signed Certificate).

Have a look at these great threads from last year that provide answers to both problems.
