LWAP join problem

Hi,

two LWAPs seem to try to join the WLC, unsuccessfully. I see messages from 'debug capwap errors enable' for both of the LWAPs like this:

*Oct 20 12:45:06.361: 00:27:0d:55:b3:f0 Join Priority Processing status = 0, Incoming Ap's Priority 2, MaxLrads = 250, joined Aps =212

Have you got any idea?

Re: LWAP join problem

Hi,

I have seen this when the regulatory domain check in not passing, that's why WLC is not sending the config response.

I would double check the model of the AP and the country code configured on the WLC to make sure they are compatible.

Can you share with us the complet part number of the AP and the sh run-config from the WLC?

Thanks,

Tiago

Re: LWAP join problem

Hi,

the info on the AP I can get in this moment is:

Cisco, AIR-LAP1131G-E-K9 - 802.11g AP, Single MPCI Radio, Int Ant, ETSI

I won't be able to post the whole running config of the WLC but you may have enough information with the following:

Re: LWAP join problem

Ok, so the reg domain is good and the country code also...

Leads only to on root cause...Radio is indeed dead...and the solution is to replace the AP...so i would open a TAC case and ask for an RMA.

HTH,

Tiago
