mDNS and LSS not filtering

We have the following setup

2 controllers (in a mobility group) and around 500 APs distributed between them. Each controller has identical set up. We have a different AP group for each building.

We have enabled mDNS and LSS in order to use Apple TV.

My understanding is that the AP group should act as a filter, so only those Apple TVs in that building are visible.

What I need is for someone connecting to an AP in building A only to see Apple TVs in building A and not building B and C.

I've been testing in a new building (currently no live Apple TVs) and I am still seeing Apple TVs in building B and C.

Am I not understanding this correctly and missing something?

I have multiple clients running mDNS and LSS with not issues at all.  The thing you need to make sure of is that there isn't any other bonjour gateway in the network.  One way to test is to place an Apple TV in vlan X on building A and a device on Vlan Y in the same building and see if clients see the Apple TV.  Also when using LSS, the Apple TV's and the devices need to be in a separate subnet from each other.
