microwave and cisco 1310 bridge compatibility

I have a Cisco 1310 bridge connected to a maxrad 120 degree antenna mounted 125'high thru an LDF5-50-A coxial cable' on a microwave tower with a microwave dish running at 10.6 GHz mounted 92' high and a yagi 65 degree antenna mounted 300 yards away connected to another cisco 1310 bridge. I can get the two radios to link up just fine. When I conect the ethernet cable on the microwave side of the link the ethernet drops and the bridge must be rebooted and the ethernet cable disconnected. If I leave the coaxial cable disconnected on the microwave side the ethernet syays linked. Any ideas on what is causing the ethernet to drop when the coxial cable is connected? The radios never drop. Thanks.

This is most likely not a radio issue. The radios never drop therefore the radios work.

Is this a redundant link for the same path?

Are you sure you didn't create a loop and spanning-tree "fixed it"?
