Hi,

I have 2 CISCO PCMCIA Card 350 Series associated with an AP-350 ( 50 mW).

I have no problem with this configuration

But when I want to use an old CISCO PCMCIA Card 340 Series with AP-350.

The card is not Associated. The SSID is correct, and i have update the firmware .

Does anyone know if Card 340 Series is compatible with AP-350 (50 mW)

My PC is Windows XP PRO

Thanks for your help

Hi, I´ve used the Aironet 4800 Turbo DS Card and Symbol LA4121 with Cisco AP352 and it´s working perfect. I haven´t used RFC1042, in the AP, when using any client no Cisco but this is not your case. I suggest you to check wep and, if it´s possible, test with other ap.

Regards.

You may have WEP enabled on the AP but NOT on the PCM Card?

Also, if the card is a PCM340 it has no WEP support, if it is PCM341 it only has 40 bit WEP functionality, if it is PCM342 it has 128 bit WEP support and should be OK.

Check you WEP key settings on AP and cards.
