Phonerental spam

I welcome the Cisco TAC newsletters and agreed to receive it. I did not agree to receive commercial spam from vendors. If CISCO is selling my email address I would like to opt out. I received a spam advertising phone rental for the CISCO Networkers in Argentina.

The following is the text and signature on the spam I received today: It was sent in HTML with CISCO logo graphics.

Re: Phonerental spam

I received the same spam as you did. Quite shameful. I wonder if Cisco sold my email, or they got hacked.

Re: Phonerental spam

Isent an inquiry to Cisco Friday. No response yet. I doubt that Cisco has fallen to the level or selling our email address. Most likely a hacker or simple harvesting of address off the list.
