Hi,

I connect my wireless LAN to wired LAN using Cisco Aironet 350 bridge. The wired LAN connects to the Internet using Cisco Router 1700. I have 20 PCs on the wired and 15 on wireless with about 5 APs (Cisco 350). I also have a small bandwidth of 128/64kbps. About a month ago I started noticing a decrease in the signal quality. When I checked the bridge statistics I noticed a lot of PLCP CRC Errors, Packet CRC Errors and PLCP Format errors. I also noticed that anytime I disconnect the wireless from the network, my signal will comeback to normal.

What are these errors, what is wrong with my connection and where can I get further documents on these?

Thanks.

A.I. Chafe

This is usually caused by interference from nearby radio traffic, but can be caused by poor radio link characteristics or random radio noise when the receiver is idle. You could try changing channels(frequencies) on your Access Point to see if that will help. You could also be getting interference for example from a nearby 2.4ghz cordless phone.
