Possible to connect a AIR-LMC352 to an AIR-ANT3549?
Is it possible to connect a AIR-LMC352 to an AIR-ANT3549 and if so what part or manuf. cable would you use to conenct the MMCX on the card to the RP-TNC connector on the antenna?
My hope is to use this to communicate back to a 350 Series bridge in AP mode with the same AIR-ANT3549 antenna connected to it and since I'm looking at a distance of about 1500 feet - I'm assuming I'd need the LMC352 with matching antenna to reach back to the bridge instead of the integrated client adapter...
Re: Possible to connect a AIR-LMC352 to an AIR-ANT3549?
Two 350 series devices with 9dBi ANT3549s pointed directly at each other with no obstructions at a range of 1500 feet will yield a System Operating Margin of about 25dB at 11Mbps. (You want a minimum of 20)
You need a MMCX to RP-TNC Jumper - which is more expensive than a MMCX to Type N jumper. I mention this because it would be cheaper to do either of the following:
- Get the cheaper jumper $30 and a similar antenna with a Type N connector for $48
- Get a 4dBi or better antenna with a MMCX connector

I have created a Powershell script to automatically add a Wireless Guest User on Cisco WLCs. (tested on 2500 Series)
The script should be completely self explanatory.
