Probe information with RSSI for specific LWAPP AP on a WLC?

Hello,

I am using Cisco WLC 4400 and four Aironet 1242 LWAPP.

I would like to get detailed informations about RSSI of all probing clients (rouge clients, associated clients, and all the other devices that are just probing for a wlan).

It would be great if I could have last information via SNMP, but I looked for some MIB and I found only some of them about Associated Clients and Rouge Clients and Rougue AP. Is there some MIB I didn't find?

Enabling debug for probes, I can see probing devices with Signal Strenght and RSSI, such this:

*apfProbeThread: Jan 23 16:02:16.548: Received aggregated probe, dataLen = 69

*apfProbeThread: Jan 23 16:02:16.548: e1:18:ac:dd:1b:00 aggregated probe IE elmId=221, elm_len=9, dataLen=69

*apfProbeThread: Jan 23 16:02:16.548: aggregated probe IE: TIMESTAMP

*apfProbeThread: Jan 23 16:02:16.548: 14:da:e9:45:25:d0 aggregated probe IE elmId=221, elm_len=27, dataLen=58

*apfProbeThread: Jan 23 16:02:16.548: 14:da:e9:45:25:d0 aggregated probe IE: AGGR PROBE

*apfProbeThread: Jan 23 16:02:16.548: 14:da:e9:45:25:d0 probing client, ver=1, slot=0, wlan=0, snr=17, tx_pwr=0, chan=1, reg_class=0, ts_diff=197ms, seq_num=4100, ant_cnt=2, rssi[0]=181, rssi[1]=128

*apfProbeThread: Jan 23 16:02:16.548: 14:da:e9:45:25:d0 aggregated probe IE elmId=221, elm_len=27, dataLen=29

*apfProbeThread: Jan 23 16:02:16.548: 14:da:e9:45:25:d0 aggregated probe IE: AGGR PROBE

*apfProbeThread: Jan 23 16:02:16.548: 14:da:e9:45:25:d0 probing client, ver=1, slot=0, wlan=0, snr=12, tx_pwr=0, chan=1, reg_class=0, ts_diff=137ms, seq_num=4096, ant_cnt=2, rssi[0]=173, rssi[1]=154

How can I distinguish received probes between different APs associated to the WLC? I would like to know which AP received a probe and its RSSI.

Thank you very much

Hi,

I am not sure I understood how you manage to get the probing information out of the controler.

could you give us the whole command ?

I am trying to get the RSSI information of probing clients out of the WLC.
