Problem using the 350 series pcmcia card on a handheld pc

Hi

I have a Cisco 350 series Wireless PCI card. I have tested it on an ordinary PC and it works fine. But I want the card to work in my LG PHENOM Handheld PC (model H-220C PRO, WinCE 2.11).

I installed the card using v2.02.00 driver which came in the original pack. I installed the driver and then inserted the card, typed its name "aironet". Judging by the leds the driver activates the card but then after few seconds the handheld pc hangs up - it stops responding to any commands - every process freezes. Threre are two ways I can resolve this situation: 1.Remove the card - then the PC continues to work as usual. 2.Reset the PC - but then the PC works only untill the driver initializes - when the leds start to flicker the PC freezes again.

Any suggestions?

I would suggest you give consideration to upgrading you PPC to PPC 2002 (i.e. Win CE 3.0). I run this release and my wireless access is trouble free. This problem is quite well documented on this and other forums and the recommendation is always to upgrade.
