PtP ( BR500 <-> MC4800 ) Performance Issue

I've been working on solving a performance issue between two sites.

The ISP site is using a BR500 configured as an AP off an Omni.

My remote site is using an MC4800 bridge connected to a directional

over 25' of LM400. There is good LOS between the two sites. Distance

is about 1.5 miles.

Using the link-tests on the MC4800, the unicast tests show "good" performance with 0 or 1% packet retries. Multi-cast is also "good"

Signal Strength in=100 out=90

Signal Quality in=51 out=45

The radio Stats on the MC4800 look clean.

On the BR500 side, the stats are similar however it is seeing more CRC

errors and holdoffs.

The perfromace issue is that data moves from the BR500 to the MC4800

at 450KB/sec . However, data moving from the MC4800 to the BR500 is

less than 1/2 that at 180 KB/sec.

Both sides have their RTS/CTS packet size set to 0 , which I'm under the impression means use RTS/CTS on every packet. Not that it should matter since there are only two nodes using the AP.

What steps can I take to isolate this problem ? Why, if the signal quality is

similar on both ends, do I have such a difference in performance up vs down?
