I am having issues with my RAP staying associated to my WLC. Every 20 - 30 minutes it disassociates with the WLC, with the logtrap stating heartbeat timeout. The device then immediately reassociates within 60 secs, however obviously my whole network drops out!! not good.
This is a connectivity issue with the network. Check the power on the PoE adapter first. Second, make sure all appropriate traffic is moving on the vlan that the RAP exists in a timely manner. Next, make sure that the switch port the RAP is plugged into is not in some way rate limited. After all, you are sending a lot of traffic through the one port.
