Recovering from Failed Upgrade

AP Model: AIR-AP1220B-E-K9

We recently tried to upgrade this from VXWorks 12.03T to IOS, but something went wrong. We now get the following prompt only:

c -- Copy file

f -- File dir

l -- downLoad file into DRAM

u -- Upload file

p -- xfer Protocol

n -- coNsole

r -- Run

s -- System info.

I've therefore redownloaded the 12.03T VXworks image file and uploaded it via the console cable using 1K-Xmodem and baud rate 115200. The file appears to upload successfully, so I click r for run, but keep getting the following output:

a -- EnterpriseAP Sys 12.03

a

Inflating "EnterpriseAP Sys 12.03"...

** Error in Compression Codes

I've tried this a few times now and redownloaded the image incase it was corrupt but with the same problem.

Can anyone help me? Cheers!

Hi Paul,

Have a look at the following;

Verify that the connection settings in the terminal application are 9600-8-None-1 and NO flow control (not hardware or software).
