Request Timeout for Large Files

I have two 340 bridges. I can see the other nodes from the Network Neighborhood. I can transfer files without a problem. But when I try to open my excel files from the other network especially large files, request timeout occurs. Result is that I cant open the excel files with 2-4Mb sizes. When this happens the Radio LED flashes quickly and the Ethernet only once in a while. As what Ive observed, as soon as the ethernet gets choked, the request timeout occurs.. Anyone can shed light on this?

Try adjusting retry values and packet sizes up.

How do you increase the packet size for transmission? Is it in the Configuration-Radio-Extended-Fragment or Configuration-Radio-I80211-RTS?

Do I need to edit one or both? How about the Beacon? Tnx a lot for the help.
