Security - Aironet 350 LAN Adapter

When used in a peer-to-peer configuration, what security is used to protect your data when using the Aironet 350 Adapter? Are the new WEP ehancements (TKIP, MIC, broadcast key rotation) automatically turned on, or do they only get used when associating with an Cisco Access Point that supports them?

Indeed all the security suite like TKIP , MIC and broadcast key rotation are only available when your client card is being " authenicated" by the Cisco Access Point.

Peer to peer situation is really only a quick and temporary solution anyway as there is on central management.

Enableing static wep key is only a very very weak protection.
