It is imperative that we install Aironet 11a-b-g silently with no reboot at the end. We have to have SMS controll the rebooting of the laptop.
After extracting the installation files, I can silently install the software by creating an answer file to Disk1\setup.exe. I can not figure out a command-line to turn off the reboot. We do not want to use ACAU.
Can anybody assist?
*uninstall I figured out, it is just the installation.
Re: Silent install with no reboot: Aironet 11a-b-g
I am not aware of any way this can be done from the command line, Cisco currently support two ways of silent install for the drivers.
1. One is via the Client Adapter Install Wizard. Express Installation/Upgrade (recommended) . Silently installs the client adapter firmware, drivers, client utilities, and security modules using the default values
2. Secondly via the Cisco Aironet Config Admin tool ACAT which is downloadable via the Aironet Wireless Software Selector on CCO.
