Re: Update of AP342 10.10 to 12.04 only works as client after up

I have an older Cisco Aronet 340 (Air-AP342E2RUS) that Radio Network Role could be configured as AP/RepeaterAP/Client prior to update of the firmware to 12.04. Now, only "Site Survey Client" shows up in the ROLE IN RADIO NETWORK selection window.

What is going on here? Do I have the wrong firmware or is this some sort of hardware limitation of the older equipment?

I don't think this is an hardware limitation of an older equipment, try a reboot

It turned out that the license key was missing.
