Upgrade AP to LAP

Hi, I have the AP, AIR-AP1230B-A-K9, and I need upgrade it, so that it works like a LAP, How I do it?

Hi

You first need to download the LAP code and the LAP Upgrade Tool from Cisco's website. Once done, you then create a .txt file with the information of the AP (IP Address, Username, Password, Enable Password) and insert it into the tool. The Tool has a built in TFTP Server and if pointed to the correct directory (where the LAP Code is) it will upgrade the AP automatically for you.

All Done!!

Hi Ricardo

I did some checking as well. Unfortunately the 1230B is not supported on the LWAPP Upgrade.

You will need to upgrade the hardware.
