One of my housemates has had to borrow my wifi adapter to connect
to UPC BB in my house which uses a cisco epc2425 cable router/modem.
Recently found a Netopia 2247. Is it possible to setup the 2247 as
a wifi repeater so my housemate can simply connect to the 2247 via
Ethernet to get our BB?

Hi David,
Thank you for your question. However, you posted your question in the Cisco Small Business Products and the EP2425
is not a Cisco Small Business Product.
Your product is an internet service provider (ISP) supported product. In other words you need to contact your ISP or technology reseller that you purchased this from to help you with your question. I have moved your question into the Other Service Provider subjects in hopes that someone may be able to help you.
However I did a search and found the DPC/EPC2425 manual that may help:
