user concurrent session limit

Good Day,

We recently installed a 2106 controller and 1130 access points. This question regards the maximum number of users for a given user name.

We host events with up to 100 users. Ideally, we would issue one user name and password for the group.

I noticed a limit of 8 concurrent sessions for a particular user in the GUI. Does this limit apply to users authenticated through a radius server, or only the local user database?

8 is the maximum sessions opened under a single user name. This is part of the WLC code and as such I don't think you can change that. Have you looked at enhanced guest access through an anchor controller?
