Wall Mounting a 1250

Has anyone looked into wall-mounting an Aironet 1250? We do not have ceilings in most locations which we can hang APs or antennas from, so I'm at a loss for how exactly we're going to use the 1250.

Sorry about that, I took this literally :)

I think you can mitigate the Radiation Pattern question;

For the 2.4GHz Radio instead of using;

AIR-ANT2422DG-R non-articulated dipole Gain (dBi) 2.2

You could use;

AIR-ANT4941 **articulating dipole Gain (dBi) 2.2

For the 5.0GHz Radio instead of using;

AIR-ANT5135DG-R non-articulated Gain (dBi) 3.5

You could use;

AIR-ANT5135D-R **articulating dipole Gain (dBi) 3.5

You might also try the new antennas being introduced with the Cisco Aironet 1250 Series.

AIR-ANT2430V-R=

5-GHz 4 dBi Triple Omni Antenna *3 RP-TNC

Hi Jeff,

The 1250 can be Wall Mounted and does ship with the proper bracket for Ceiling or Wall Mounting;

AIR-AP1250MNTGKIT = AP1250 Access Point Ceiling/Wall Mount Bracket Kit

If I use the AIR-ANT2422DG-R antennas and mount the access point on the wall, doesn't this result in a radiation pattern which is perpendicular to the floor?

I guess my question is more about how to mount the AP to a wall *and* get a good radiation pattern out of the antennas, not about how to mount the AP to the wall.

That first guide is just what I needed. I couldn't find any documentation that said the 4941s were supported.

I am considering working with our enclosure manufacturer to design an enclosure which would allow us to mount the 2430 and/or 5140 to the enclosure. Being able to use the articulating antennas without running into potential FCC Part 93 violations is a relief.
