Has anyone installed WCS on Windows 2008?   I see the specs say Windows 2003 or Later but I'm wondering if anyone has actually implemented this successfully.   Thanks

I tried with Windows 2008 Enterprise x64 and x86 and no luck... So I have it running on a Windows 2003 Enterprise Server...

There are currently no plans to support WCS on Windows 2008 or on 64 bit platforms.

Firstly apologies for resurrecting an old thread but couldn't find the answer anywhere else and seemed sensible to reply to this.

Considering Windows Server 2003 is now out of 'mainstream support' with Microsoft (as of July 2010):

Cisco must surely have a roadmap to support Window Server 2008 sooner or later.

We are about to start a programme of upgrades for all our servers to 2008 (including WCS) due to the mainstream support lifecycle above so would like to know a date when WCS will support 2008.

PS - Is WCS7 a free upgrade for customers with WCS6 and active support contract?
