What are these event log messages telling me?

Every now and then I see this series of messages in the logs on my AP's that look like errors, but they're logged at the "Info" severity level. When they occur all associated clients disassociate (as "leaving the BSS") and then reassociate within a few seconds. This happens infrequently (once every couple of days), but occurs on more than one AP.

Some of my users are complaining of intermittent loss of service to our primary application (which is a telnet session that may hang if network connectivity is lost) and I was wondering if these errors might not be related.

2003/04/07 12:15:19 (Info): Disassociating [<2>], reason "Sender is Leaving (has left) BSS"

2003/04/07 12:15:19 (Info): Station [<1>] roamed

2003/04/07 12:15:19 (Info): Station [<2>] roamed

2003/04/07 12:15:21 (Info): Station [<1>] Authenticated

2003/04/07 12:15:21 (Info): Disassociating [<2>], reason "Not Associated"

2003/04/07 12:15:21 (Info): Station [<1>] Reassociated

2003/04/07 12:15:22 (Info): Station [<2>] Reassociated

Anyone have a more detailed explanation of these log messages and an idea of what might be causing them?

Thanks,

Paul

the 3rd line suggests that the AP are maving their connections from one AP to another and then comming back.

Try increasing the number of retries on the clients card.

Check the distance between consecutive APs and the overlaping channels.

Is there a lot of interfearence between the clients and the AP ?

Do the clinets have good signal strenght when they are disconnected ?
