the general design guide is less than 20 to 30 per AP but if you are doing VoIP then down to 7 or 8 per AP depending on codec

Inbetween should give you a good guide depending on traffic profiles

Is the 20-30 ratio you suggested the same whether we're deploying 802.11b or 802.11g?
