What's the difference between the Client and AP 802.11b MINI-PCI cards ?

What's makes the 802.11b MINI-PCI cards for the Access Points different from the MINI-PCI Client Adapters ?

I am not sure on the hardware , mini-pci which goes on AP may be more complicated design than mini-pci

client adapters which goes in laptop . I belive most of

differences comes due to the software which makes one

mini-pci a client and other mini-pci a AP radio module

Also if you see driver / radio firmware is different for both

mini-pci cards .
