Where is 802.11b on 1242?

The interface list on my 1242 lists only Radio0-802.11G and Radio1-802.11A.

I have an 802.11B device that won't connect. Is 802.11G automatically B compatible?

I'm almost embarrassed to mention it here, but it's a Sony PSP (we use it in the lab for uh....testing)

oh... I'm running in standalone mode for this, so the 1242 is not using LWAPP.

Thanks,

-R

Re: Where is 802.11b on 1242?

G is automatically backward compatible with B, providing the data-rates are enabled.

So in your Dot11 0 config, you should see data rates like 1, 2, 5.5, 11Mbps. If they're there, then 802.11B clients should work.
