Wi-fi access by user and pass for defined time

Hello there.

I am not sure that this is the place to post this question but i will do it anyway. I want to know briefly the hole proces of greating a system like in the hotel, where you take a from the reception a ticket with a user and pass for the wireless. Than you connect to the wi-fi network with out a pass than send you to a web page where you type the user and the pass and it allow you to use the internet for 1 week for example. I have some ideas what i need but cant imagine the hole proces. If some one can help, and have interests in that field.

A wireless LAN controller and Prime Infrastructure can be used. The WLC would host the captive portal and Prime Infrastructure can allow the desk agent to print out the information to login.
