winxp connect to wlc using 802.1x and wep

Hi,

The wlc is configured to use the Microsoft IAS with 802.1x for authentication.

When I boot up the window XP, I type in the username and password to login. After login, the wireless connection did not connected. I need to wait for 1 to 2 minutes until the wireless lan is connected.

This make the network drive is disconnected after I login. Is there any way to prevent this?

One of the reasons could be .Take the digital certificate out of the picture.You configure the client not to validate the certificate.Refer the follwoing URL for more information on the certificates
