Wireless Bridge, LEAP, and Dynamic WEP

Does a wireless bridge, 352BR, authenticating with LEAP use dynamic Wep? What if the session-timeout is set to 900? The bridge will need to reauth every 15 minutes...does mean a momentary outage for the client utilizing the bridge? What if the STO is set to 0 or not used? How often is the WEP changed?

Thanks,

Dan Laden

Re: Wireless Bridge, LEAP, and Dynamic WEP

Yes, the wireless bridges like cisco aironet 350series does support the dynamic Wep. Setting the session-timeout to 900 make it to reauthenicate every 900secs which seems to be secure enough. There wont be any outage as such. Only that it needs to be authenticated every 15 mins. The STO can be set to 0 but I feel, that this wont work properly.
