When I login to a AP from my bowser and get to the home page, click on the link clients under ASSOCIATION it gives me the Device type.
Does anyone know what the Device type of a 4500-radio is or 4800-radio?
Most of the devices are showing up as unknown which I am assuming that these are laptop device.
TIA

Both are the inbuilt Intel wireless adapters, generally found in HP/Compaq laptops.

I asked myself the same question this morning. On my access point i found the following:
4500-radio are HP Laptops with W500 wireless cards or Toshiba laptops with Intel 2200BG card with driver version 9.0.3.0.
Toshiba Laptops with 2200BG card with version 9.0.1.x drivers appears as 4800-radio.
Laptops with CB21AG are appearing as CB21AG/PI21AG.
I don't understand what is the difference but it are what I can observe.
