Wireless Client Inactivity and Timeout activation

These are the setup that I have:

BBSM---Switch----AP----Wireless Client

After wireless client authenticated, if I let it idle without any activity ( meaning not accessing any web site/application), How long will it timeout the connection or it will never timeout? APs default idle time out will age out after 3600s. Did beacon's packet consider there are still some activity?

Anyone have the explanation on the idle timeout to share? Thanks in advance.

You can change the inactivity timeout . You can use the dot1x client-timeout configuration interface command to configure the IEEE 802.1x (dot1x) client timeout value. Syntax is dot1x client-timeout 1-65555
