Wireless Controller 4500 Series - SNMP OID Help

Hello All,

I had a question regarding the "AIRESPACE-WIRELESS-MIB" there are a ton of OIDs that contain "MobileStation" within the MIB-Name...

For Example: (the following all have an equal number of these OIDs per each one listed below)

  • bsnMobileStationVlanId.x.x.x.x.x.xxx...
  • bsnMobileStationApMode.x.x.x.x.x.xxx...
  • bsnMobileStationInterface.x.x.x.x.x.xxx...

  • bsnMobileStationPolicyType.x.x.x.x.x.xxx...

  • bsnMobileStationBytesReceived.x.x.x.x.x.xxx...

  • bsnMobileStationBytesSent.x.x.x.x.x.xxx...

  • many man more....

So each one of those OIDs above have for example 100+ of the same one with a different number trailing the OID itself.

My question is what would be considered a "Mobile Station"..? Is it the same thing as an Access Point?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks in Advance,

Matt

Hey Steve, thanks for the quick reply.

So the "Mobile Station" is the user who is connected to it?

Thanks,

Matt
