Hello All,
I have few questions on wireless.I tried to locate in documents, but wasnt able to get on to specifics.
1. how can the configuration backup for a wireless lan controller be done using GUI. Is there any inbuilt tab for this
2. if 2 different dhcp pools are defined in wlc and if each is to be associated with different ssid profile, where is the association done for the dhcp pool to the ssid on the WLC
3. the current client list on wlc shows all clients with different details. there is a field called 'status' under which most of them are seen as associated , however there are certain which show as "excluded". what does this indicate ?
thanks in advance!

Hi!
1.) yes, under the management tab. You do an upload, of the config.
2.) For the DHCP, the WLAN is linked to an interface. In the interface you can set what DHCP server to use for those clients. When you are using the WLC as the DHCP server, set this to be the IP of the managment interface. Then when a client sends the DHCP request, the WLC looks to see if it has a scope that matches the subnet of the interafce the request came from.
3.) An excluded client, is a client that has been trying to gain access to the network, and has continually failed. When this happens the WLC 'excludes' the client, for 60 seconds(by deafult). After this time expires the client can then try to connect again. This can be seen when a client is misconfigured for access to the WLAN.
