wireless vlan and 802.11i

hi all

CIsco AP 1100 support IOS and vlan how does this works

Does AP 1100 support VTP?

Does AP 1100 support DTP?

IF VTP is supported does it means than if i have vlan 5 named foo in my switched network i will have a ssid foo

created automatically or should i have to config a manual mapping between ssid and vlan name?

In 802.11 I (chiffering) will be done via AES algo.

for clients compatibility, will an AP support the two algo (AES and 128 bit RC4 wep)?

in futur will pcmcia support the two ciffer technique too?

how will it be possible to upgrade AP and pcmcia to support AES because ciffering

is hardware supported actually?

Thanks for any info

regards

Alain

Re: wireless vlan and 802.11i

Hi ,

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/products/hw/wireless/ps4570/products_installation_and_configuration_guide_chapter09186a0080101c44.html

From above url you can download the PDF file which can explain how to configure AP1100 .

AP1100 does not support VTP and DTP .
