WISM2 AND VRF ISSUES

Hello everyone,

I configured my WISM2, HA SSO also configured and everything working fine, but

My SVI interfaces for service and management vlans need to be included into VRF

interface vlan 301

desc service interface for wism2

ip address 10.30.1.254 255.255.255.0

interface vlan 302

desc management interface for wism2

ip address 10.30.2.254 255.255.255.0

Wism status is OPER-UP and everything is fine, but when i write

interface vlan 301

ip vrf forwading wism1

ip address 10.30.2.254 255.255.255.0

interface vlan 302

ip vfr forwading wism1

ip address 10.30.2.254 255.255.255.0

My two WISM2 are going to Keepalive state, and only service ip address in shown, like this

CORE-VSS#show wism status

Service Vlan : 301, Service IP Subnet : 10.30.1.254/255.255.255.0

      WLAN

Slot  Controller  Service IP       Management IP    SW Version    Controller Type    Status

----+-----------+----------------+----------------+------------+------------------+---------------

26    1           10.30.1.1        0.0.0.0                       WS-SVC-WISM-2-K9   Started KeepAlive

42    1           10.30.1.2        0.0.0.0                       WS-SVC-WISM-2-K9   Started KeepAlive

What it can be, how can i fix it to work with vrf

thank you

Re: WISM2 AND VRF ISSUES

The service port should remain local to the WiSM2 and should not be routed. This is out of band and will cause issues if the service port has connectivity to the management.
