Okay, I’ve put away all the fancy routing, IPSECing, deployments and whatnot that it is I do and spent an entire weekend in my apartment unable to get my Agere PC Card to “associate” with my Cisco 350 PC Card (both systems running Windows 2000 SP3). The Cisco card is in add hoc mode with excellent overall link quality, no WEP and open authentication. Case sensitive SSIDs match, both are on the same channel and I’ve tried the Agere card in peer-to-peer and access-point mode but this just will not work. Has anyone gotten this setup to work and, if so, what am I missing? Any thoughts appreciated.
