WLAN Controller

I have a wireless LAN Controller enabled with mac address filtering. I found a client connected but the mac address is not in the mac address filtering list. However it is connected with the status excluded. What does it mean?

Re: WLAN Controller

It failed authentication because it's MAC address wasn't in your allowed filter list. WLC's policies will exclude the client from further authentication attempts until it is removed from the excluded list. You can change how WLC handles excluded clients in the, "Security/Wireless Protection Policies/Client Exclusion Policies" section.
