WLC 5508 preloaded software by default

While ordering cisco part AIR-CT5508-100-K9 via multiline configurator.

My question would be which software version comes whith it by default when choosing SWC5500K9-70.

Is it particularly file named AIR-CT5500-K9-7-0-230-0.aes loaded onto controller?

I believe it's any of the 7.0.x code.

7.0 or 7.2 is shipped On the wlc. For some reason sometimes the wlc comes with older versions.

If you want to order with specific code i suggest you ask for latest 7.2.

It depends on the date when the WLC is manufactured.

When you order it, it's loaded with the "standard" firmware Cisco has provided to the factory.

I believe the "current" default is the 7.0.235.0.
