I have configured a H-REAP wireless network , but as it is required the WLC can not be accesses behind a NAT, although the remote AP can. As far as I know the issue is related to the AP-Manager and Management IPs, which both are needed to function properly and event if you set a static mapping the AP could not figure out the right IP address.
In the new 5508 WLC the function of the AP-manager can be combined with thata of the Management interface I wonder whether anybody has tested it yet. I don't have the equipment, but I am interested in this feature and it will be useful in future deployments.
