WLC 5760 with AP3702i and wIPS

Hello, I understand the WSSI module is not supported when using the 5760 WLC, however, is wIPS supported when using the APs in Monitor Mode with the 5760 and MSE and PI?

Hi Rays,

Yes, it is supported in 5760.

I have configured 3702I in monitor mode with wIPS & able to create wIPS profile & assign it to 5760 via PI.

Hi Rays,

this feature is  suported. you can configure the AP in monitor and wips submode  and add the ctlr to PI/MSE, configure a wips profile and it should work
