WLC AP Power Levels

I used AirMagnet Planner to place 1242 APs in warehouse using 35mW and -65 dBm cell edges with 20% overlap for 7921G phones.

I plan to use RRM and Dynamic Power Levels. However I noticed when manually setting the power I can choose, 1 thru 5. With 2 50% and 3 being 25%.

Will Dynamic Power Management set AP levels between 25-50%?

RRM uses signal strength information from neighbouting APs and assosciated clients to assign a power level, to adjust the behaviour you will need to tweek the RRM sensitivity.

Hope this helps

Is the AP Power Level in "dynamic" varying between 25mW and 50mW, say 35mW? Or will it use exactly 6.25, 12.5, 25, 50, 100 for all AP power outputs?

The default power setting is “Automatic” (uses Radio Resource Management) which I understand is variable but is not documented in the WLC administration guide
