WLC Channel Auto setting vs. Channel Manual

Hi,

Regarding the subject, anyone can enlighten me which one is better for setting the channel assignment of Lightweight on WLC?

Does it better to use "Auto" or manually setting the channel/power on each individual AP.

Thanks,

It is better to have the wlc choose the channels. RRM has come a long ways and I believe it works better now than it first did when it was first was an option.

Well, just monitor it for a while. Here is a good doc that explains RRM pretty good.

Thanks Scott.

Wondering about the accuracy of WLC's auto settings.

I observe two adjacent APs got a same channel and power assignment from the Controller. I am worry about interference caused by channel overlapping.
