Hi,

Has someone ever found this kind of error.

I try to disable many unallowed clients in system myself. But the only client name 88308ADDF9A2 can't be removed.

Please suggest me a solution.

Thank you.

Just as an FYI,

If you use the search by Mac address and put the mac all in Capital Letters you will find the mac address that you are looking for but with no description on it and you wont be able to delete that client from the exclusion list, so the work around is to use lower cases on the macs while searching or look for the client manually if you want to use the GUI or use de CLI, I think this is a Bug and I have seen it in all software versions.

regards.

Example:

But Client STILL show in Client list

To solve this just use lower case in the search box.

Hi,

You disabled his client manually? or it get excluded by other means (multiple auth failures for example)?

Does this MAC address appear in the exclusion list?

> show exclusionlist

Amjad,

Yes I need to push him out my network like this

So let me check ' show exclusionlist '

Thanks

Nipat

so, it is disabled already? but you are not able to remove it?

or it is not disabled and you are trying to disable it? I am confused.

Correct, it is not disabled (STILL show in Client list) and I'm trying to disable it. Then error shown.

Good.

So, you may try the CLI commadn to exclude the client:

config exclusionlist add

That should work.

You need also to make sure that your client list is updated. the first error message says the client is disabled and it is no longer on the system.

with the "show exclusionlist" you make sure if it is disabled or not. if not, you use the CLI command to exclude it.

Thanks!!
It works for me, I was searching by Uppercase, just change to lowercase and works well.
