i assign the ip to AP: 192.168.1.100 and mask 255.255.255.0 and gateway 0.0.0.0

fastethernet enable,radio g enable,radio a enable

SSID:MyCisco! whitout security

later

in my pc nic 192.168.1.4 and mask 255.255.255.0 and gateway 0.0.0.0

later

i have a laptop with pci wireless card ieeea and ieee g

In this laptop when i connect to "other networks" SSID put MyCisco! then can connect to the ap

only when i revised in cmd

ipconfig show

Why the ap assign this ip?

Maybe assign 192.168.1.XX in the range 1 to 255

Hi Roberto,

did you configure the Access point to hand out ip addresses at least ? This doesn't happen by default.

I think this document should help :
