WPA2 Enterprise Certificate Warning

I am using a valid public certificate to authenticate my users. It seems that no matter what most clients still throw some sort of warning that the user must agree to one time.

Many of the devices connecting to our wireless network are beyond our scope of control.

It isn't the end of the world. I was just curious if anyone had a way around this without using any BYOD onboarding software.

I believe you are referring to the HTTPS redirection error message that a lot of browsers throw if they cannot validate the certificate.

You can disable it via the GUI with Management -> HTTP-HTTPS, WebAuth Secure web = Disabled.

From the cli,  <config network web-auth secureweb disable>

You will need to reboot the controller for it to take effect.

This is not best practice as it will bypass the certificate check.
