I am thinking of deploying WLAN controller in our data-network. This will support a guest wireless network. I intend for Guest web-browsers to auto-detect proxy configuration using WPAD. Has anyone done this? Does anyone foresee any issues with this?
I don't think this is a good idea because you have no idea how the client browsers are configured. Some may have auto-detect disabled. Why do you want to mess with a proxy ? Just let them out to the net as is.
